This module is probably the hardest but is key to the success of getting started and
growing your future business.
I have always found that business owners love ex-military and military spouse run VA businesses. Businesses actively partner with veteran-owned / military spouse-owned companies because they are run by exceptionally reliable, disciplined, and adaptable leaders who bring a real competitive advantage. This strategic move not only helps companies meet their goals and boost their reputation but also allows them to genuinely support the talented and deserving military community.
In the military, a clear framework and rules of engagement are critical for success; the same is true in business. This module establishes your operational and legal framework. We’ll cover the essential “need-to-knows” like legal structures, client contracts, insurance, and data protection (GDPR).

You will find
A targeted approach is always more effective than a scattergun one. This module is about identifying your ideal client with precision. Instead of trying to serve everyone, you’ll learn how to define exactly who you want to work with and what problems you can solve for them. We’ll help you define your niche and create your “client avatar,” giving you a clear target for all your future marketing efforts.
A lot of VA Trainers will tell you to support the industry you come form, doesn’t really work for military veterans… It does for military spouses and so we can delve into that to.
Your military experience has taught you the value of structured processes. This module provides you with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for client engagement. From the initial “discovery call” (your reconnaissance) to professional proposals, seamless onboarding, and effective client reviews, you’ll get the tools and templates for every step. This ensures your communication is always clear, professional, and efficient, building strong, lasting client relationships.
It’s time to go active. This module is where you learn to deploy your marketing strategy and make your presence known. We’ll cut through the noise and focus on what works. You’ll learn how to build a professional online presence, use social media effectively, and what you need when you decide to create a website that acts as your 24/7 digital storefront. This is all about raising awareness of your services and confidently communicating the value you bring to potential clients.
This is a huge module!
In simple terms, there are many definitions of marketing but it is essentially about understanding your clients or potential clients: identifying what it is they want and keeping them satisfied. It is about creating awareness of what you provide and the benefits of your service.
Your business has launched; now it’s time to think about long-term growth. This module focuses on scaling your operation and future planning. Just as in the military, you can’t do everything yourself. We’ll cover how and when to delegate tasks or build a team of associates, leveraging your natural leadership skills. We will also cover contingency planning and mentorship, ensuring you have a sustainable and resilient business built for the long haul.
Your VA Momentum Course covers everything from business strategy, tools and technology, to client management, marketing, financial planning to working with associates but we know there are a few other things that will help you move forwards, so in addition to the private support community you will get…
You will get four x 30-minute one-to-one coaching calls as part of the course. These calls allow you to ask questions, get expert advice and make sure you fully understand everything covered.

12 months access to the VA Membership, including a monthly training Masterclass with Amanda or guest expert, weekly group coaching, weekly co-working sessions. There are over 200 hours of training already in the portal waiting for you.

The VA Momentum Course is a comprehensive training program designed to help aspiring virtual assistants launch and grow their own successful VA businesses. It provides a step-by-step roadmap, guiding participants through the process of defining their services, pricing, ideal clients, legal requirements, contracts, insurance, and data protection.

You will receive:
Each main module will take you 10-15 hours depending on the level of granularity you decide to go into. But there will some people who spend a lot less time in one module and more time in another. However, you get unlimited access to the Modules and when they get updated you will get the updates.
VACT have partnered with several UK providers of legal templates – they are different and will suit different individuals. You will have a discussion with Amanda about which you would would like for your VA business and then they will be ordered and sent to you direct from either provider.
This means that should your contracts get updated within 12 months post purchase, you will receive the updates direct from the provider.
Yes, you can do the training while still working full-time (or even part-time). In fact, I do not recommend you giving up your employed role until the business is established and you are starting to secure clients.
Your training is delivered in our VA Training Academy.
The training is delivered through a mix of distance learning printable materials, online videos and audios. By the end of the course you will have created your own copy of the “The VA Knowledge.”
You are given training on the technical skills and knowledge to work virtually and while will help you to get started part-time or full-time. We don’t train you how to be a PA or an EA – that is assumed knowledge, although you do not have to have come from a PA or EA background to be a VA.
Yes we have a module that covers the basics of Marketing both on and offline, Social Media, Content marketing, lead magnets, email marketing, PR, case studies and networking.
