Emma Conway Hyde has been running her virtual assistant business, The Umbrella Tree, for eight years.
After over two decades as an administrator and personal assistant, she decided to take on a new challenge and established The Umbrella Tree in May 2016. Emma was confident in her skills and experience as a PA, believing she could learn anything else along the way.The first year went smoothly, and Emma learned a great deal. However, she struggled with the lack of support one typically has when employed. While enjoying the freedom of working for herself, Emma realized she needed accountability. She was able to motivate herself, but after a while, it became apparent that she required additional support. As others around her had coaches, Emma set out to find one for herself.
