In hindsight, I wish I had taken up 1:1 coaching sooner. At the time, I think there was a part of me that resisted, perhaps thinking that coaching was an admission of weakness, but in fact, it’s the opposite. It’s recognising that even the “top players” in any industry have coaches and mentors and that, sometimes, it’s necessary to step outside of your business to be able to gain the clarity an momentum to move forwards.
