Goal Setting for 2024 with Amanda Johnson
Reviewing the previous year before setting goals for the coming year is important because it allows us to reflect on our accomplishments and challenges from the past year, and helps us to identify patterns and trends that we can take into account as we plan for the future.
As you review your 2023, be kind to yourself, there is no right or wrong answer and there is no judgement or blame.
By looking at our 10 year goals, 5 year goals, and 3 year goals, we can gain a broader perspective on where we want to be in the long term and what steps we need to take to get there.
Focusing on our goals for the next 12 months helps us to narrow our focus and make a concrete plan of action. Breaking our goals down into 90 day periods helps to further break down our larger goals into smaller, more manageable tasks, making it easier to track our progress and stay on track towards achieving our goals.
