Judy Salmon, a Business Coach and Training Consultant specialises in general communications skills training with particular expertise in helping individuals at all levels to be more personally effective, confident and aware of their strengths and weaknesses. This session is interactive, good fun and will give you the chance to meet new people whilst practising some new skills.
She has addressed many business networks and spoken at conferences on the subject of “How to Gain Business from Networking” and has recently created a programme “Are you Curious about your Career?” which has received a very positive reaction. Her clients include Knight Frank, PKF Francis Clark, Arup, AECOM, Stephens Scown, Michelmores LLP, NFU, Brewin Dolphin, Thomas Miller & Co Ltd and Allen and Overy LLP.
Her past experience includes the setting up of Training within James Capel and working as a consultant with MaST International Ltd. She also completed an eight year Short Service Commission in the Women’s Royal Army Corps, took a career break to take part in an expedition to Zimbabwe with Raleigh International, cycled from London to Paris to raise money for the Royal British Legion and helped create a project to develop a group of young business men and women to raise money for the Prince’s Trust. Her passions are walking, watching ballet, cinema, singing and travel.

Judy will be running a session called: “Be Proud Of You.”
In this session she will cover the following areas:-
- A passport to success – Confidence. What is it, what does it look like, what does it feel like and why do we need it?
- In your current role – what is your success criteria?
- So how do you project that success criteria when marketing yourself in face to face situations, how can you instil TRUST, the key to opening the door to a new relationship.
- First Impressions and an effective communications set of tools.
- The power of listening.
- Internally what can sabotage us – negative self-talk, beliefs, imposter syndrome.
- What exactly do you bring to a business owner? Have a quick stock take of your strengths.
The learning objectives are:-
- You will go away with a surge of feeling good about who you are and what you have to offer.
- You will have some practical tips on how to make an excellent First Impression.
- You will be reminded about what sabotages our success and some thoughts about how to tame negativity and nerves.
